winter happenings

Aside from trips to Tahoe and the usual grind of work and school, we've had a few other fun things happening around here.

PJ Day at preschool -- KK and her best preschool buddies, Audrey, Violet and Evan 

 Ryan's school hosted a STEAM night (science, technology, engineering, art & math), which was actually really cool.  Tons of hands on science/art projects.  Including these remote controlled balls, which were a big hit.

 I was feeling a bit under the weather one day, and it was a rainy day, so after picking up the kids from school we had a reading in bed session.  Well, KK was happily dancing and playing in her room by herself, so Ry and I read in bed.  It was awesome.

 A friend and I spent one rainy afternoon with our kiddos at a new trampoline gym -- this one is a bit further away, but way cleaner feeling and with more to do besides trampolining.  Kids were exhausted.  Mission accomplished.

we spent the extra $2 for the kids to experience the hurricane wind tunnel.  Hilarious to watch.

 I got out with some local moms one night and had a glass of wine or two downtown.  Super fun, local, moms night out
