We bought ski lift tickets when we were in Tahoe for New Years week -- but then couldn't make it to the resort to use them because traffic was terrible and the mountain was jam packed. Luckily we were told we could use them another day. So, last Sunday we decided the snow was awesome, the sun was out, so why not do a day trip. SO glad we did! It was a long day, we left the house before the sun came up and didn't make it back until after 8 pm. But we skied from 9:30 to 4 that day. And the kids did SO well. It was our first time skiing at a "real" resort, as in a place Eddy and I would go without the kids. Ryan mastered skiing blue runs. And KK was hanging tough on the steeper greens. A really fun family day. Can't wait to get back up there!
