We are trying to make the most of our few full, empty days of summer. It's nice to have Ry around a little bit more actually. So in between my work days, and swim lessons, I am determined to get these kids out and doing things that we can't get to during the school year.
So this week….we hit up the Oakland Zoo (on the so far hottest day of the year -- the animals were a bit lazy, but the Bayer cubs were troopers!)

| I mean how many times can we take a photo on these frogs? But the kids still love climbing on them! |

And then today we hit up the Jelly Belly Factory tour. That's right, it's 20 minutes from our house, and it's free! How have we not done this sooner? The kids had a blast. And so did I…the robotic arms that do all the work, the billions of trays of Jelly Bellies waiting to be packaged up, made me want to break through the windows and just go crazy in there! How can you not smile at a huge room full of jelly beans? Ryan's buddy Alejandro and his mama, and Auntie Dana and Alexandra and Lucas met us there. We'll go again, any time. Just say the word.
