Back to School

We started back to the school grind last week, and so far so good!  

Ryan started first grade, and is in Mrs Deans class.  She is new to the school this year, but seems like she has a good handle on the kids, and he has been all smiles when talking about his days.  Best parts according to him?  TWO recesses now, not including lunch recess of course, and they get to play on the big kids playground.  What could be better?

 Not really school related, but I came home from work later last week to find our sweet babysitter Shannon patiently sitting on the floor so Kaitlyn could play beauty shop with her -- while KK was wearing one of her fanciest dresses of course.  Love you Shannon!

 And finally, after patiently waiting a full week, miss KK had her time this morning, when preschool started for her.  She was so ready!  She is at the same school this year, but 3 days per week, and with new teachers.  Ms Jill and Ms Kathleen seem SUPER energetic and happy to have these kids in their class, it seems like it will be a great year (a semi compromise for the girl who wishes so badly to already be in Kindergarten, with a big girl backpack and a pink lunchbox).  Stop growing up so quickly little lady.
