Last weekend was a super treat for me. My best friend Kate came for a visit....without her 2 kids or hubby in tow! We had a great dinner out, just the two of us, and other than that we didn't do much besides hang out, get a little exercise, try to keep my kids entertained, etc. May not sound like fun to some of you, but let me tell you this....just going to the grocery store is SO much more fun when you go with a girlfriend! :) It kinda felt like we were back in college.
So we stayed up way too late, talked about girl things, and just had a great time catching up. Ryan loved having her around (she's a mom of 2 boys, so she knows boys...and she brought him a package of boxer brief undies which have been a total hit....what more can we say?), and Kaitlyn loved snuggling with her. Good practice for Kate too....as she is 16 weeks pregnant with baby #3! So she was a super friend for coming down from Spokane, just to see lil ol' me. Thanks my friend, we miss you so much already! Why can't you just live next door?

We took Kate over to Tiburon on Saturday, for a walk along the water and then some lunch. And even got in a blue angels sighting, as it was Fleet Week. Pretty successful all around.
